WWE Superstar Bronson Reed recently had a dramatic rise after demolishing several names on the RAW roster. However, his first target, Seth Rollins, has returned, seeking vengeance. As both superstars head to Crown Jewel to settle their feud, ex-WWE star Trevor Lee explained why Reed destroying Rollins was so important.
Known in WWE as Cameron Grimes, Lee wrestled for the promotion between 2019 and 2024 and became an NXT North American Champion. On Denise Salcedo’s podcast, he noted that he began his career with the Stamford-based promotion alongside Bronson Reed.
He noted that he had seen Reed being released from the promotion. However, seeing The Aussie return to WWE and command such a big presence on RAW makes him hopeful that other NXT guys like him can make it big in the company.
“That is so hopeful and so like reassuring, and it's so cool to see the guys that were kind of in the same position as me, that were like not really getting matches or getting time on TV now get to have more time on TV.”

He also noted that he was happy to see the same thing happen to Dexter Lumis.
“Dexter Lumis, the exact same thing. We started the exact same day together I watched him be released and then I watched them come back and now be asserted into an angle that again is huge. And I hope that that happens with me as well. I think that the ability for that to happen is even greater now because of all the changes that continue to make WWE better,” he said. [35:12 -36:16]
Bronson Reed hospitalized Seth Rollins ahead of Crown Jewel
Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins have become sworn enemies. This week on Monday Night RAW, The Visionary talked about hunting Reed at Crown Jewel. Tempting him with a chance to do that without waiting for the Premium Live Event, the Aussie called Rollins to the parking lot for a brawl. Both superstars went at each other, toppling security guards when they tried to separate them.
The Architect flattened Bronson Reed with a Curb Stomp on the hood of a car. As he looked into the camera and talked about how this was just a taste of the punishment that awaited his opponent, Reed got back up. After another brief exchange of blows, the 330-pound star lifted Rollins on his shoulders and drove into some tables with a Death Valley Driver.
This resulted in the former World Heavyweight Champion making another hospital visit because of Reed. It would be interesting to see if he can return to his hundred percent to face Bronson in Saudi Arabia.
