Bronson Reed recently shared some details of his SmackDown appearances, mainly helping the new Bloodline in taking out Roman Reigns. Reed poses a major threat to The OG Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames this coming Saturday in Vancouver, Canada.
Solo Sikoa recruited 'Big' Bronson after Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins turned him down. Reed was helpful in taking out Reigns on the November 15, episode of SmackDown.
The new Bloodline was close to executing another beatdown last Friday before Paul Heyman returned to introduce CM Punk as the fifth member of The OG Bloodline's team at Survivor Series. Punk, Reigns, and Sami Zayn combined to take Reed out of the ring.
In a series of posts on his Instagram stories, Bronson Reed proudly shared the sneakers he was wearing when he attacked Roman Reigns two weeks ago. He was wearing a Nike Air Force 1 Low '07 Triple Black before donning the Nike Air More Uptempo Low Black Photon Dust last week.
Ahead of tonight's episode of SmackDown, Reed is wearing the Nike Air Max Dn SE Light Smoke University Red.
"#BRONSONKICKCHECK," Reed wrote as caption.
Sneakers have become a huge part of wrestling culture with several WWE Superstars like Roman Reigns, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Shane McMahon, Kofi Kingston, The Usos, Edge, Finn Balor, CM Punk, Batista, and Carmella rocking them in the ring.
Roman Reigns has a sponsorship deal with Jordan
One of the biggest shoe brands in the world is Air Jordan, a subsidiary of Nike. It was made famous by Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, who has become synonymous with his popular sneakers.
Roman Reigns announced before WrestleMania 40 that he had joined the Jumpman Family. Reigns showed off his custom Air Reigns gear, specifically made for him. GQ Sports would later confirm the deal, making The OTC the first Nike-sponsored WWE Superstar.
The Rock has his own line of sneakers with Under Armour called Project Rock. It will be interesting to see if more WWE Superstars get sponsorship deals and even signature shoes in the future.
