WWE Hall of Famers Bully Ray and Mark Henry recently praised a 42-year-old star for her work over the years. Ray explained what impressed him about Natalya, while Henry encouraged her to 'grow a set' and make some demands about a future storyline.
On the most recent episode of The Master's Class podcast, the crew discussed Natalya's legacy as a veteran among a bunch of young stars. Bully Ray praised her for keeping up with younger talents by staying in shape.
"Natalya does a phenomenal job of keeping up with herself. Natalya is a veteran, she's up there in age. I'm not saying she's old, she's older than most of the girls in the locker room. She looks like a spring chicken, phenomenal shape. Always changing up her ring gear. Natalya's a beautiful woman. You put them in a lineup, she looks like she belongs." [8:09 - 8:35]
Meanwhile, Mark Henry suggested a possible stable for Natalya involving a bunch of NXT stars she could take under her wing. Henry also urged The Queen of Harts to take it to management and make Triple H listen.
Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE
"Natalya's happy to be there. She's gonna have to grow a set and say, 'Guys, can I got to NXT and sit in the audience and pick my stable of future wrestlers?' They got girls down there they don't know what to do with. They put them in groups together that don't matter, don't mean nothing. 'Let me go pick and I'm not gonna make them The Hart Foundation. I want to give what I know before I'm gone.'" [19:32 - 20:08]
Natalya recently signed a new deal with WWE and returned from a three-month hiatus. The 42-year-old has been helping Lyra Valkyria and Zelina Vega in their feud against Pure Fusion Collective.
Bully Ray explains why he stopped using The Dudley Boyz gimmick
In the same episode of The Master's Class podcast, Bully Ray commented on how Natalya should be booked by WWE. Ray felt she should be getting wins over young talents before putting them over and bringing them to her level. The Hall of Famer explained that it was one of the reasons why he stopped being a Dudley after their second stint with the company in 2016.
"This is why I couldn't do the Dudley thing anymore. Vince used the Dudleys as a stepping stone for other talent as opposed to letting us stay at the top and pull other talent up." [13:19 - 13:30]
Bully Ray recently returned as Bubba Ray Dudley as a special guest referee for the Street Fight between The Pride and The Final Testament at WrestleMania 40.
