Bianca Belair might have a list of suspects when it came to who took Jade Cargill out in a backstage assault, but Byron Saxton immediately ruled out a 33-year-old star. Saxton confirmed that he saw Piper Niven in a different place when the attack happened.
WWE is still dealing with the fallout of Jade Cargill's attack. Michael Cole confirmed on SmackDown that management still has no idea what they plan to do with the Women's Tag Team Titles as news came out that Jade Cargill won't be medically cleared anytime soon.
After Bianca Belair's match, Byron Saxton asked her about the Jade Cargill situation. He said that he personally saw Piper in the Gorilla position during the attack on Cargill, ruling her out as a suspect. Naomi then went on to name several of their WarGames opponents as suspects.
Fans, however, aren't too convinced by Naomi. Although she is a beloved figure in the WWE Universe, many signs point to her being the suspect who took out Cargill and not any of the villains on the roster.
It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out - but a shoutout to Bianca Belair's incredible performance on SmackDown tonight. As for Naomi, she failed to advance in the Women's United States Championship tournament.
The wheels are turning and this story promises to be a big one.
