The WWE Universe is buzzing over Candice LeRae this week after her recent history-making victory. The veteran grappler is mounting momentum as RAW heads into the Netflix era. LeRae has made many friends and foes in her two-decades-plus career but just broke character to issue a message to one rival.
The Poison Pixie made wrestling history today by becoming the inaugural WWE Women's Speed Champion. She defeated Piper Niven in the opening round, then beat Kairi Sane in the semi-finals, and today, she conquered IYO SKY in the finals. Following an assist from Indi Hartwell, the 39-year-old secured the pin by nailing her Lionsault finisher with 1 minute and 12 seconds left of the five-minute time limit.
The Genius of the Sky and The Canadian Goddess worked their third singles bout today. IYO won both of their previous matches on RAW in December 2022 and January 2023. LeRae took to her Instagram Stories after the match aired and broke character to send a touching message to the Damage CTRL member.
"I would wrestle you until the end of time...," Candice LeRae wrote.
