Carmelo Hayes shared a four-word message ahead of a major grudge match tonight on WWE SmackDown. United States Champion LA Knight will be serving as the Special Guest Referee for Hayes' match on the blue brand tonight.

WWE Speed Champion Andrade and Carmelo Hayes have squared off against each other six times so far, and the series is even at 3-3. The two stars will battle tonight in a match billed as "Game 7," and the winner will earn a United States Championship match against Knight.

Ahead of SmackDown, Hayes took to Instagram to share an egotistical four-word message. The former NXT Champion claimed that his match was "can't miss" tonight on SmackDown.

"Game 7. Can’t Miss 🎯," he wrote.

LA Knight captured the United States Championship from Logan Paul earlier this year at SummerSlam. Knight has successfully defended the title against both Andrade and Hayes in recent weeks on SmackDown.

Carmelo Hayes praises WWE SmackDown star for helping him during his career

Carmelo Hayes recently praised Baron Corbin for helping him grow as a performer during his time in NXT.

The Lone Wolf spent some time in NXT before his return to the main roster as a part of this year's WWE Draft. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter earlier this year, Hayes disclosed that he was very appreciative of Baron Corbin.

The former North American Champion shared that Corbin helped a lot of the younger guys during his time in NXT and helped prepare them for the main roster.

"Actually, I appreciate Baron Corbin a lot. He's one of those guys that, he came in, you know, he took a lot of us younger guys under his wing in a way, and kind of just smartened us up on the game. There is a lot of stuff that we don't know on the other side, that we aren't privy to because we haven't got to experience that yet." [3:04 onwards]
