On the latest episode of SmackDown, Carmelo Hayes collided with his rival Andrade in a singles match. This was a rematch from two weeks ago, which the current WWE Speed Champion won.
During the bout, Melo hit Andrade with a dropkick, and the latter returned the favor by hitting a dropkick of his own. The former NXT North American Champion sent El Idolo into the stairs and hit a springboard lariat in the ring, which got a two count. They exchanged chops and strikes, and Andrade nailed his opponent with a Dragon Screw and followed it up with a jumping forearm.
The WWE Speed Champion went for a double knee in the corner but missed. Carmelo Hayes planted him with a unique suplex using the ropes and tried to set up Nothing But Net, but Andrade chopped him in the corner. Later, Andrade went for another running attack, but Hayes countered it into a facebuster.
Andrade nailed Carmelo Hayes with a back elbow and hit a moonsault off the top rope for a nearfall. Melo hit two superkicks and rolled Andrade for a cover, but the champion reversed and got the three count after going for a cover of his own.
