WWE interviewer Cathy Kelley is one of the most popular non-wrestling personalities in the Stamford-based company. She recently confirmed her relationship status.
The 36-year-old is currently in her second WWE stint. Kelley previously dated current RAW star Finn Balor, but their relationship ended almost a year after it started. While the backstage interviewer has kept her real-life relationship away from the public eye since her return to the company in 2022, she has been joking about being the significant other of some of her colleagues on the road, including Rhea Ripley and Maxxine Dupri.
In an interview with Lightweight Podcast, Kelley joked about being Dupri's "husband." The backstage interviewer then confirmed that she was single in real life. Hence, she became the work wife of several of her co-workers:
"I'm literally everyone's work wife because I don't have a partner at home. So, I just become everyone's significant other," she said. [From 01:46 to 01:54]
Cathy Kelley addressed potentially playing another role in WWE
Since joining the Stamford-based company, Cathy Kelley has served as a backstage interviewer on NXT, SmackDown, and Monday Night RAW. She also hosted a YouTube show with Kevin Owens.
Meanwhile, the 36-year-old disclosed that she would be open to becoming a manager if she could find the right paring. However, she pointed out that she is not in a hurry to assume that position, explaining that she could picture herself involved in wrestling in some way throughout her entire career:
"I would definitely be open to managing if it is the right pairing. That is something that I would love to grow into, whether that's tomorrow or whether that's a decade down the line. Because I do really see myself involved in WWE, in wrestling, in some way throughout my entire career," Kelley said.
With Kelley having close friendships with several superstars, it would be interesting to see if she would ever manage any of them.
