Chad Gable and Otis are involved in one of WWE's hottest storylines. The Alpha Academy hasn't been on the same page since Gable forced his stablemates to assist him in his Intercontinental Title pursuit. This week on RAW, fans saw another chapter in the faction's breakdown. Former head writer Vince Russo feels that the group's segment impacted the rest of the show.

Otis took on Bronson Reed in a losing effort on Monday. The 32-year-old's loss infuriated Chad Gable, who wanted to punish the former by attacking him with a belt. However, Gable was stopped by Maxxine Dupri and Sami Zayn. Despite the humiliation, Otis had Master Gable's back as he attacked the Intercontinental Champion in the ring.

On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo said Alpha Academy's segment crossed its original time limit, forcing the main event to be rushed.

"The thing in wrestling bro, the big, big stickler in wrestling is, bro, you gotta stick to your times. Because, if you don't stick to your time, bro, especially in a live show, you're gonna sc**w up the entire show, bro." (25:13 - 25:26)
