A video has surfaced online ahead of WWE RAW that shows Chad Gable visibly upset with a popular superstar. Gable was in action this past Saturday night at WWE King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia.
Sami Zayn defended his Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable and Bronson Reed in a Triple Threat match at the premium live event. During the match, Alpha Academy's Otis accidentally caught Gable with a clothesline outside the ring. Zayn then isolated Reed in the ring and connected with the Helluva Kick for the pinfall victory to retain the title.
WWE shared a video on its official Instagram account today showing Gable giving a glare to a clearly apologetic Otis following the match, and you can check it out in the post below.
Fans drowned out a popular wrestler with 'She's a racist' chants recently
Chad Gable snapped and turned heel last month after failing to capture the Intercontinental Championship from Sami Zayn on RAW. He attacked the veteran in front of his wife and demanded that his stablemates in Alpha Academy do whatever it takes to help him capture the title.
Bill Apter was not a fan of the decision to have Chad Gable wrestle last week on WWE RAW
Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter has shared his thoughts on Chad Gable's victory over Sami Zayn in a non-title match last week on RAW.
Otis interfered in the singles match last week and helped his stablemate defeat the champion. During last week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Apter questioned the decision to book the match a week before King and Queen of the Ring.
"I think the Chad Gable thing, I love what they're doing with him. However, I would not have put him in a match tonight against Sami Zayn because it takes some of the luster away from the upcoming PLE. Maxxine wouldn't help, Tozawa wouldn't help, and we didn't think Otis was gonna help. But he did and he felt bad about it. So, Sami Zayn loses with interference."
Chad Gable has seemingly become obsessed with capturing the Intercontinental Championship, which is causing issues within Alpha Academy. It will be fascinating to see how the 38-year-old reacts to the loss at King and Queen of the Ring during tonight's episode of WWE RAW.
