WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair has shared another injury update amid her absence from the wrestling promotion. The Queen's last in-ring appearance was over 10 months ago.

The 38-year-old tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus during her singles match against Damage CTRL's Asuka on the December 8 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Flair had to undergo surgery and has been absent from WWE television since. Earlier this month, a report claimed that the former RAW Women's Champion is not cleared to make her in-ring return.

Charlotte Flair recently took to Instagram Stories to share an update while working on her recovery. She posted a video of herself undergoing an E-stim procedure on her injured knee.

Charlotte Flair's return might affect popular WWE Superstar's current run, believes veteran

Charlotte is one of the most successful female superstars in WWE history, having won several championships over the years. There is a huge possibility that The Queen might be involved in a scuffle for a title following her return from injury.

Speaking on a recent edition of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, veteran journalist Bill Apter speculated that the Women's Grand Slam Champion's return might negatively affect SmackDown Superstar Tiffany Stratton. He praised The Buff Barbie while raising his concerns.

"Nothing wrong with any of the other ladies. I think Chelsea was very close, but in terms of marketing and viable for a match against one of the champions, it's gotta be her. She looked tremendous. She has got that athletic background. My question is, I don't know when this is gonna happen, but the women's division has changed so much. What's gonna happen in your opinion when Charlotte Flair clicks that button and says, 'I am ready to come back,'" said Apter. [1:57 onwards]

Tiffany Stratton won the 2024 Women's Money in the Bank ladder match and has teased cashing in her contract on multiple occasions despite her being WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax's close ally. It will be interesting to see how long it will take for the 25-year-old to eventually cash in the MITB contract.
