Charlotte Flair's career faced a major setback late last year, which put her out of commission for the foreseeable future. As The Queen prepares for her WWE return, she took to her social media handle to share an update about her whereabouts.
The 38-year-old superstar had an unforgettable night on the December 8, 2023, episode of SmackDown, where she tore her ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a match against Asuka. WWE announced that Flair would be out of action for approximately nine months. Fast forward to October 2024, and she has yet to make her in-ring return.
However, there's been a positive update on her status. According to WrestleVotes via Backstage Pass, Charlotte Flair would feature in a top match at WrestleMania 41, suggesting she's nearing her return.
Earlier today, The Queen of WWE revealed that she was in New York and was in a dilemma about whether to wear biker shorts or jeans shorts. In the caption, she wrote:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
"So I couldn’t choose?"
Charlotte Flair names her two dream WWE opponents
During the WWE World Panel earlier this year, Charlotte Flair expressed her desire to have a singles match with Bianca Belair on a big stadium show.
The Queen showered praise on Tiffany Stratton's work and said that she would like to face Ms. Money in the Bank down the road.
"I really want that one-on-one moment with Bianca Belair. I really do. After Bianca, give it for Tiffany. I could not be more proud of her. Seeing her, watching her from home, watching her in Australia. She owns it. She’s going to be a big deal. First, Bianca and I, our history, her athleticism, I respect her so much as a talent. Bianca is the first opponent I would like to have a big stadium show with,"
Tiffany Stratton is apparently on her quest to win the WWE Women's Championship from Nia Jax. Should The Buff Barbie win the prestigious prize, fans could see a returning Queen step up to challenge her next year.
