Charlotte Flair's WWE career will easily leave a mark in professional wrestling when all is said and done. However, The Queen has also made mistakes in the past, and she recently reacted to an embarrassing moment. The veteran has been absent from TV since December 2023.

In December 2022, Charlotte Flair returned to WWE TV as a face after a seven-month hiatus. After recapturing the SmackDown Women's Championship from Ronda Rousey, she remained a babyface for a few months before losing the title to Rhea Ripley at The Showcase of The Immortals.

Notably, after her maiden successful title defense against Sonya Deville in January 2023, The Queen broke character and acted as a heel as she snatched the championship from the referee, who wanted to raise her hand. Today, Flair reacted to the embarrassing botch on X (Twitter), claiming ''it was a reflex.''

The veteran made a meta-joke as she was often portrayed as a heel in the Stamford-based promotion and was used to acting up like this even after her matches.

"It was a reflex,'' Flair wrote.

Charlotte Flair will reportedly have a big match upon returning to WWE

Charlotte Flair's absence can be felt in the women's division, as The Queen was an integral part of the division in the Stamford-based promotion. In December 2023, she got injured during a match against Asuka and has since not apppeared on WWE TV.

Meanwhile, The Dirtiest Diva in The Game's absence has allowed new names to get popular among fans, and one such name is Tiffany Stratton. The Buff Barbie moved to the main roster in 2024 and eventually became Ms. Money in the Bank in Canada.

According to the Backstage Pass Q&A Show, Charlotte Flair will have a big match upon her return to the Stamford-based company. While the opponent wasn't named, the possibility of Flair vs. Stratton and Bianca Belair vs. Jade Cargill was discussed for The Showcase of The Immortals.
