WWE star Charlotte Flair took to social media today to send a heartfelt message to Stephanie McMahon. Flair has not competed in a match this year due to a major injury.

Stephanie McMahon stepped down from WWE in January 2023, shortly after Vince McMahon returned to the company. Vince also resigned from the company earlier this year after allegations from former WWE employee Janel Grant were made public.
Charlotte Flair is still recovering from her torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus suffered on the December 8, 2023, episode of SmackDown. The injury occurred in a singles match against Asuka, and The Empress of Tomorrow is also currently on the shelf with a knee injury. There has been speculation about Flair's return to the ring in recent weeks and what the promotion may have planned for her on SmackDown.
Former WWE writer pitches interesting storyline for Charlotte Flair's return
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently suggested a unique storyline for Charlotte Flair when she makes her return to the ring.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the legend claimed Flair should be ranked in the top 10 female wrestlers in the company when she returns to action. Russo added that Flair could offer to retire if she loses to any female on the roster.
"And if I'm Charlotte Flair, 'I've been gone for a long time, I get it, a lot of the women have come into prominence in my absence. I get it, I understand, and, basically, to prove myself all over again, I'm gonna start from 10 and work my way up, and along the line if I get pinned by any of these individuals I will retire from the WWE. That's how good I think I am. I will start at the bottom and work my way up, and if somebody can beat me I will pack my bags and go home,'" Russo said. [4:08 – 4:55]
