Charlotte Flair has sent a message to Damage CTRL member and her former tag team partner, Asuka. The two superstars are currently sidelined with respective injuries. The Queen suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during a match against Asuka on the December 8, 2023, edition of SmackDown. The former world champion has since been absent.

Meanwhile, The Empress of Tomorrow has been absent since May 2024. She had been suffering from a knee injury for months before her hiatus. At the Backlash France PLE, Asuka and Kairi Sane lost the Women's Tag Team Championship to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Asuka subsequently took a break and later underwent a successful surgery.

Notably, at the 2020 TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Premium Live Event, which took place on December 20 that year, Flair returned as a babyface to team up with Asuka. They defeated Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

During a recent exchange on X, The Queen sent a message to Asuka after The Empress of Tomorrow described their tag team as "super coolest!''

Jonathan Coachman is hoping for Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch to return in 2025

Former Interim RAW General Manager Jonathan Coachman recently expressed his desire to see Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch return to WWE in 2025. He said their potential returns would add further depth to the women's division, which already includes Liv Morgan, Chelsea Green, and Rhea Ripley, among others.

Earlier this year, Lynch lost the WWE Women's World Championship to Morgan at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. She failed to regain the title against The Miracle Kid in a Steel Cage Match on the subsequent RAW and went on a hiatus. The Man's contract expired in June.

Speaking on Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, The Coach said:

"If they could have Charlotte Flair back and Becky, well, now we've got some with Liv [Morgan], with Chelsea Green, and with Rhea Ripley. Now, you got five legitimate stars to get through 2025. So, I hope both will be back in January."

It remains to be seen if Lynch and Flair make their respective returns in 2025.
