Charlotte Flair spotted with 24-year-old WWE star; teases major milestone

Charlotte Flair is due for a WWE in-ring return. There are already talks that she may be back around August-September; SummerSlam season. Her training updates on social media is perhaps hinting at it sooner rather than later.

In her latest update on on social media, Flair was seen with NXT star, Nikkita Lyons, who is also currently out of action owing to injuries. The 24-year-old sustained a torn ACL and meniscus in January 2023, which kept her out of action until she returned on the December 5 episode of NXT. However, after a loss to Blair Davenport on the January 9 episode this year, Lyons got injured once again.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) earlier today, Charlotte Flair shared an injury update and has now followed it up with some more Instagram stories in which The Queen can be seen at the Performance Center.

"We CLAW with our finger nails for that inch. Cause we know when we add up all those inches that's going to make the fu***** difference between WINNING & LOSING," Flair wrote on X.

According to Shotzi, who is also currently sidelined, she and The Queen were slowly building a tag team on SmackDown so that eventually they would contend for the Women's Tag Team Championship. Flair would suffer the untimely injury in early December 2023 at the Tribute to the Troops edition of the blue brand.


Nikkita Lyons gives an update to WWE Hall of Famer Booker T

During an appearance on Booker T's Hall of Fame podcast earlier this year, Nikkita Lyons stated that she hoped to be back in time for WWE NXT Halloween Havoc. The event takes place in October.

Lyons said it had been two months since her surgery and that time had flown by quite quickly. as she prepared herself for the grind. She mentioned she was targeting the white and gold brand's Hawoween premium live event for her return to action.

"It's been two months since my surgery, and honestly, I feel like these two months went pretty quick, at least for me, because run on the grind every day. But right now, I'm hoping by Halloween Havoc. I'm hoping that'll be a good time," Lyons said [HT: Fightful].

Lyons also added that despite her WWE career in the last two years being hampered by injuries, she is not going anywhere. The nature of her current injury is not clear. She has been signed with the Stamford-based promotion since the Summer of 2021.
