Chelsea Green is the inaugural United States Champion of the WWE women's division. She won the belt at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14. However, is her reign going to end soon?
Green, 33, is a breath of fresh air in the women's division and is only in the early stages of her first reign with a singles championship in World Wrestling Entertainment. She is also a proud Canadian. Toronto will be hosting WWE Elimination Chamber on March 1 this year. The annual roadblock before WrestleMania for the superstars on the roster featured a Men's Elimination Chamber Match with the United States Championship on the line two years ago. There is a possibility it could be the turn of the women this time.

In an interview with WittyWhittier, Chelsea Green reminded the host that the 2024 Money in the Bank was the highest-grossing Canadian arena show for WWE, which puts pressure on them to deliver at Elimination Chamber later this year:
"I mean, look, we came in hot with Money in the Bank [2024]. It was the highest-grossing Canadian arena show in WWE history. So, I just think it's only fair — coming back for SmackDown on 20th February, and for Elimination Chamber on 1st March — it's only fair that we crush those numbers," Green said.

Green then admitted two things: she was nervous about a possible title defense inside the grueling Elimination Chamber. However, the Women's US Champion also wants to be part of the show regardless of where she is placed on the card:
"I'm a little nervous about Elimination Chamber, with the pods, with the metal, the cage, all that. Being stuck in there, I'm not so sure whether that's for me. [...] Elimination Chamber is no joke. But I want to be involved no matter what. It's a Canadian show. I need to be involved," Green added. [From 4:36 onwards]

Chelsea Green challenges former WWE Divas Champion Maryse ahead of the Royal Rumble
Since winning the title at SNME in December, Chelsea Green has been in an ongoing program with Michin, who will stop at nothing to win the Women's US Championship.
Meanwhile, Green has challenged fellow Canadian Maryse to a title match. Maryse, wife of The Miz, has sporadically stepped into the ring in the last decade and is a former two-time Divas Champion.
It remains to be seen where things go from here for Chelsea Green, who won over the WWE Universe right off the gate upon her return to the company at the Royal Rumble 2023. Many look at her title win last month as a well-deserved moment.
