Chelsea Green sent a heartfelt message to her best friend in WWE ahead of tonight's episode of RAW. Green became the inaugural Women's United States Champion at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.
Green defeated Mia Yim at Saturday Night's Main Event last weekend to capture the title. After the victory, she celebrated with Piper Niven in the ring. Steve Fall of Ten Count Media shared a video of the two stars embracing in the ring after Green became champion. Green reacted to the video on social media and shared a heartwarming message about Niven:
"Get you a friend, tag partner, copilot, hype woman that cries for you when you win the title because you’re a cold biotch who can’t shed a tear to save her life… 💟", she wrote.
Chelsea Green and Piper Niven had an impressive reign as Women's Tag Team Champions last year. Naomi and Bianca Belair are the reigning Women's Tag team Champions and successfully defended the titles this past Friday night on WWE SmackDown. Jade Cargill was originally on the tag team with The EST but has not returned to television since being attacked last month.
Former WWE manager reacts to Chelsea Green's "dangerous-looking" finishing move
Wrestling legend Dutch Mantell recently shared his thoughts on Chelsea Green's finishing move.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Mantell reacted to Green hitting The Unprettier on Yim to win the title. The veteran noted that he wouldn't take the move if he was paid $100,000, and added that the company put the Women's United States Championship on the right WWE Superstar:
"It was the upside down, she calls it The Unprettier. Good finish and dangerous-looking too. You couldn't pay me $100,000 to take that move. Somebody might say oh you're just upside down on my back and I'm just sitting down but bullc*ap. Wouldn't be sitting down with me. That was a good finish and they put it on the right person." Chelsea Green had never won a singles title in the company before capturing the Women's United States Championship at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event. It will be interesting to see what the company has planned for her title reign moving forward.
