Chelsea Green has made another controversial statement. WWE is wrapping up another big year, and it appears the company is closing out December with a bang after recent accolades and cases of significant success. Chelsea Green has had a big month of her own, and she's made sure everyone knows. The history-making superstar is now taking credit for another win by the company.

The Hot Mess of World Wrestling Entertainment is now in the history books as the inaugural Women's United States Champion after defeating Michin in the tournament finals at the first SNME special since 2008. The two-hour special aired in primetime on NBC and Peacock. The show drew 1.59 million viewers and a 0.42 key demo rating on NBC. It was reported that if Peacock numbers were released, the combined viewership would have been over 2.3 million.

Green seemingly believes the SNME ratings are all because of her. The former TNA Knockouts World Champion took to X to respond to Variety's report on the ratings. Her two-word message said a lot.

"You're welcome," wrote Chelsea Green.

SNME went up against AEW's Winter Is Coming edition of Collision on TNT, the NBA Cup semi-finals on ABC, and ESPN's College Football Heisman Trophy show. AEW drew a new record low for its B-show on Saturday night.

Chelsea Green celebrates at Disneyland

Chelsea Green is known to be a big fan of Disney. The inaugural WWE Women's United States Champion went to the park with husband Matt Cardona to celebrate her big win.

Green told fans on Sunday that she was going to the popular theme park, using the "I'm going to Disneyland!" phrase that various winners have used for decades. She later checked back in with fans and jokingly claimed a new WWE record while sharing a photo from Disneyland.

"Your longest reigning @WWE Women's United States Champion [sparkles emoji]," Green wrote with the photo below.

Cardona and Green made headlines in the lead-up to SNME after rumors of the two teaming up for a promotion outside of WWE. Sources later provided an inside update on the matter as fans have expressed interest in the potential WWE return of the former Zack Ryder.
