Chelsea Green takes shot at WWE ahead of RAW

Chelsea Green took a shot at WWE ahead of tonight's edition of RAW. This week's episode of the red brand will air live from Everett, Washington, and is the first show following WWE Survivor Series 2024.

A wrestling fan took to social media ahead of tonight's edition of RAW and complained about Chelsea Green being left off the card for Survivor Series over the weekend. The fan claimed that they drove four hours to see Green, but she didn't perform at the premium live event.

The wrestling fan brought a sign that read, "If Chelsea loses we riot," and blamed SmackDown GM Nick Aldis and RAW GM Adam Pearce for not booking her on the show. Green responded to the fan's message and claimed that Aldis and Pearce were exhibiting disgusting behavior by not featuring her at WWE Survivor Series this past Saturday night. "Disgusting behavior by them!" she wrote.

The 33-year-old defeated Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport in the first round of the Women's United States Championship tournament on the November 22 episode of WWE SmackDown. The inaugural Women's United States Champion will be crowned at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14.

Former WWE writer wants Chelsea Green to win the Women's United States Championship

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently made it known that he was hoping to see Chelsea Green capture the Women's United States Championship next month at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown show, available via Backstage Pass, Russo was asked if he thought Green could win the title next month. Russo said he hoped that would be the case but criticized the company for having Michin defeat Piper Niven and Lash Legend to advance in the tournament. The veteran claimed that the company missed an opportunity to turn Green babyface by not having Niven advance to the next round.

"And then, all you had to do was have Piper screw Chelsea Green, and now you've got a babyface in Chelsea Green. It's that simple, but they're going with Michin that not one person watching this show cares about." [31:59 onwards]

Green has never won a singles title during her time in WWE. It will be interesting to see if she can capture the Women's United States Championship later this month at Saturday Night's Main Event.
