Chelsea Green recently made a bold prediction about her WWE title reign. The veteran defeated Michin at Saturday Night's Main Event last month to become the inaugural Women's United States Champion.
In an interview with WittyWhitter, the Women's United States Champion opened up about what she was hoping to accomplish during her title reign. The SmackDown star stated that she wanted to hold the title until at least WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
"That’s tough because if I’m being honest, I didn’t even see this happening. Because with wrestling, a lot of things just come out of left field. So I have learned with wrestling, I’m not gonna plan. I’m just gonna go with the flow, let things happen. Whatever happens, happens. I will say, I am going to hold onto this championship like my life depended on it, at least until WrestleMania. I’ve gotta try," she said. [H/T: Fightful]

Bill Apter reacts to Chelsea Green's first title defense on WWE SmackDown
Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently commented on Chelsea Green's victory over Michin this past Friday night on WWE SmackDown.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Apter claimed that Green's first title defense was nothing special. The legendary journalist said it was a "lower-level match" and that the timing between the two stars appeared to be off.
"I think it was okay. There was nothing special. It was a lower-level match. For some reason, it didn't grab me. I like the Chelsea Green character, but I don't know; it just didn't... It was okay. You talked about timing in one of the other matches with LA Knight, and umm, Yeah! I think the timing was a bit off in this match as well." [From 23:00 to 23:39]
