CM Punk agreed to team up with the OG Bloodline at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames as a favor to his manager at one time, Paul Heyman. A former champion recently wondered if The Best in the World could ask the Hall of Famer to return the favor by setting up a massive match.

Earlier this year, the Stamford-based company initially seemingly planned to have CM Punk square off with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40. While the match was scrapped after the 46-year-old suffered an injury during the Men's Royal Rumble Match, the feud reignited over the past few weeks. The two top superstars will now clash on the season premiere of RAW on Netflix. Speaking on his Cheap Heat podcast, former 24/7 Champion Peter Rosenberg pointed out that Punk may now face another huge star at next year's Show of Shows.

The WWE analyst also suggested The Best in the World may ask The Wiseman to return the favor after he teamed up with the OG Bloodline by setting up a match for him against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41:

"So, I was doing an interview with my friend Jonathan Zaslow, who does a nice wrestling program, and he was suggesting to me the thought that if we're getting CM Punk and Seth Rollins on 1/6, does that mean that likely CM Punk and Seth Rollins is not a WrestleMania match anymore. So, do you think now that CM Punk is gonna try to get Paul Heyman to return the favor at WrestleMania and we're gonna get CM Punk [vs.] Roman Reigns at WrestleMania this year?" [24:51 - 25:24]

CM Punk may have a rematch against Seth Rollins at WWE WrestleMania 41

Despite the two WWE Superstars clashing on the RAW debut episode of Netflix, a recent report from Xero News recently claimed Seth Rollins and CM Punk may square off in a rematch at WrestleMania 41.

The recent report came after WrestleVotes claimed on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Backstage Pass that the Stamford-based company plans to have The Best in the World involved in a championship, possibly the World Heavyweight Title, program in 2025.

Punk previously teased going after Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship. It will be interesting to see if he could dethrone The Ring General if they clash down the line.
