A top WWE Superstar recently took to Instagram to send a heartfelt message that caught the attention of CM Punk and Charlotte Flair, among others. The message came from none other than Tamina, who is seemingly in the twilight phase of her phase of her pro wrestling career.
The 46-year-old has not been seen on WWE programming in nearly two years, with her last televised appearance coming at Royal Rumble 2023. While nothing has been confirmed yet, multiple reports have noted that Tamina is no longer on the road with WWE and is all but done with the company.
The former Women's Tag Team Champion has also been pretty inactive on social media amid her in-ring hiatus. However, she recently took to Instagram to send a message to Ata Johnson (The Rock's mother) on her birthday. She also posted several videos of Johnson.
Many from the pro wrestling fraternity, including CM Punk, Charlotte Flair, Damian Priest, and Braun Strowman, reacted to Tamina's post. Natalya and Zelina Vega even commented on the update.
Tamina has most likely wrestled in her last WWE match
Tamina kicked off her pro wrestling career with WWE in 2010, despite having no prior pro wrestling experience. While she was a prominent part of the company's women's division for a long time, the 46-year-old hasn't been in the spotlight in the last few years.
The veteran has competed in just three matches since the start of 2023, with just one of them taking place on TV programming. With recent reports indicating that she's not even on the road with the company, Tamina may have had her final bout. However, we cannot rule out the possibility of her returning for a retirement tour.
Tamina has won just one major title during her time with the global juggernaut. She secured the Women's Tag Team Championship in 2021 alongside Natalya. The powerhouse also clinched the 24/7 Title on nine occasions.
