CM Punk went a tad bit too far with his comment on Drew McIntyre's recent Instagram post. The Scottish Warrior had shared a clip dedicated to his wife, Kaitlyn.

Ahead of Clash at the Castle: Scotland, McIntyre revealed that his wife was undergoing emergency surgery and wouldn't be able to watch him compete at the event. He also shared a post addressed to his wife, telling her that he will see her soon.

At Clash at the Castle: Scotland, CM Punk came out wearing a referee shirt and cost Drew McIntyre the World Heavyweight title in the main event. McIntyre was beyond furious as the show went off the air. To add salt in the wound, Punk wrote the following on McIntyre's post:

Drew McIntyre thinks CM Punk is a corporate shill

At this point, fans are aware that both McIntyre and Punk aren't fond of each other in the least. McIntyre recently appeared for an interview with Cultaholic Wrestling and took a massive shot at Punk. Here's what he said:

"He's just very good at putting on an act. But he was, you know, anti-establishment. He did speak his mind even if people didn't always agree with him or believe him, it was his truth. And he always marched to the beat of his own drum and spoke his truth. But now that's not the case. He is the corporate shill, is always in the suit. Always trying to do whatever he can do to make the bosses happy and kiss their bu**s and make sure he can justify that big contract," he said.

It's clear as day that a Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk feud has been in the works for quite some time now. Fans are quite excited about a potential singles encounter between the two top stars when The Second City Saint finally heals up.
