The final segment between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre on the RAW before Bad Blood 2024 was one to remember. With the Hell in a Cell structure raised down, both had a war of words, and Punk revealed why he hadn't been home in a month.
According to CM Punk and Drew McIntyre, their rivalry turned them into monsters. Even The Scotsman admitted that he would change things if he could go back. However, that isn't possible, and the rivalry is set to end inside Hell in a Cell this Saturday.
With Adam Pearce and an entire security team separating the two, CM Punk said that he hadn't been home for four weeks because of the man that Drew McIntyre made him become.
"I've been living in a hotel for four weeks because I will not subject my wife to the man all of this has turned me into! [...] You have turned me into the fictitious boogeyman that my harshest critics accuse me of being, and that's exactly who I need to be inside Hell in a Cell Saturday to send you home to Scotland in a Box," he said.

McIntyre, for his part, fired his shots back by wearing a black tuxedo—signaling the end of Punk's marriage to AJ Lee and his wrestling career—as The Scotsman said he would never come back when the match was over.
It will be interesting to see whether the match headlines Bad Blood 2024. It's a tough decision to make with Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes also in a match.
Many will argue that Punk and McIntyre earned the right to headline the show after having the rivalry of the year.
