WWE Superstar CM Punk defeated Drew McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood. The Second City Saint recently shared a social media update, dedicating his win to American musician Chad Gilbert.
The feud between Punk and McIntyre began on the RAW following Royal Rumble when The Scottish Warrior claimed he intentionally injured The Best in the World during the Men's Royal Rumble Match. The rivalry has seemingly culminated as the two locked horns in a brutal contest in the opening match of the premium live event.
The bout, which saw both stars covered in a crimson mask, ended with the 45-year-old hitting his opponent with a GTS using a chain wrapped around his knee to secure the pinfall.
CM Punk recently took to Instagram Stories to share a picture of himself alongside Chad Gilbert, dedicating his hard-fought win to the 43-year-old musician. Gilbert is currently battling cancer. The founding member of the band New Found Glory has been diagnosed with the illness multiple times.
"This is what a real warrior looks like ❤️," wrote Punk.

CM Punk explains why fans like his feud with Drew McIntyre
The rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre has had the wrestling fans hooked since day 1. The former WWE Champion recently explained why people love to watch his feud with The Scottish Warrior.
During a recent interview with Spiegel & Holmes on 670 The Score, Punk pointed out that people like to see a blood feud while mentioning a couple of rivalries in sports as examples. He further fired brutal shots at McIntyre, calling him a piece of sh*t.
"People enjoy a good rivalry. I think Drew is a piece of sh*t. Asking me what I think of him is kind of a loaded question. You’re not going to get me to say anything really flattering about him. It’s a good car crash. I understand, people like to watch that. They like to watch a good blood feud. I like when the Blackhawks play...they don’t really play Detroit anymore. Minnesota? I like when the Cubs play the [White] Sox, a little crosstown rivalry. I get it," he said. [H/T: Fightful]
