The WWE Universe is eagerly waiting for CM Punk to return after the star got injured at Royal Rumble 2024. Meanwhile, Drew McIntyre fired shots at The Straight Edge Star and said he doesn't deserve to be in the Stamford-based promotion.

The rivalry between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk has been heating up as both stars want to best each other on Monday Night RAW. However, the feud between the two became personal when McIntyre attacked an injured Punk and The Straight Edge Superstar cost The Scottish Warrior at WrestleMania XL.

Ahead of Clash at the Castle 2024 in Scotland, Drew McIntyre was asked about CM Punk while speaking to Title Sports Network. The Scottish Warrior stated CM Punk doesn't deserve to be in the Stamford-based promotion unless he's doing ambassador work for WWE.

"My message is I'm going to stop giving you such a platform. I've made him more relevant than I ever should've because it's fun to rip on him because he makes it so easy and I just can't stand the guy. He doesn't deserve to be in our company unless it's working backstage and doing ambassador work. Put on your suit, earn that check, and shut up and stay out of my way," McIntyre said. [4:44 - 5:02]

Drew McIntyre was inducted into the Wrestling Hall of Fame of Scotland ahead of WWE Clash at the Castle 2024

Drew McIntyre's journey to the top was filled with an insurmountable number of challenges, as the star was fired from WWE before making a grand return. Upon his return, he eventually rose to the top and became the WWE Champion.

The 39-year-old star is on a different path in his journey, as constantly getting upstaged by factions has made the star bitter along the way. However, Scotland holds a special place in Drew McIntyre's heart and his home country has been kind to him on numerous occasions.

Ahead of WWE Clash at the Castle 2024, The Chosen One was inducted into the Scottish Wrestling Hall of Fame ahead of his title match against World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. Here's what he had to say:

"It is a huge honor to be inducted into the Scottish Wrestling Hall of Fame 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I am so incredibly proud to be from Scotland, from Ayrshire. To be inducted at Ibrox as well doesn’t feel real 🤯."

It'll be interesting to see if the star can leave Scotland as the new World Heavyweight Champion.
