CM Punk's rival from over a decade ago has called him out for trashing Seth Rollins after picking up a monumental win over the former World Heavyweight Champion. Punk and Rollins main evented the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere this past Monday.
The Best in the World walked away with the win after a hard-fought battle. During the post-show, he reiterated how he feels about The Visionary being a fashion enthusiast and dancing as he walks toward the ring for a match or to cut a promo. On X/Twitter, Ryback highlighted CM Punk's post-show press conference comments about Seth Rollins.
The former Intercontinental Champion also had something to say about his former rival.
"Fragile Phil @CMPunk strikes again. All that’s missing is the muffins," he wrote.

Ryback parted ways with WWE in 2016 and has not been active in pro wrestling in recent years. During his tenure in the Stamford-based promotion, perhaps his most noteworthy program was against The Voice of the Voiceless. They worked two Hell in a Cell Matches together, one of which also featured 'The Wiseman' Paul Heyman.
Another former WWE rival of CM Punk has evil intentions should he return
Before CM Punk's rivalry with Ryback in WWE, he worked with Jeff Hardy. Perhaps this was his breakout program.
In 2009, Punk was still a young talent on the roster, albeit he had a brief run with the World Heavyweight Championship. That year, he won his second Money in the Bank contract and cashed it on the beloved babyface at Extreme Rules. This turned The Second City into a heel by default, and the two worked several matches from that point on.
Eventually, Jeff Hardy won the title, only for The Best in the World to regain it and subsequently get The Charismatic Enigma fired from WWE. Although this was in the storyline, Hardy left permanently. He would return for another run with the company eight years later, but at the time, Punk was out of the wrestling business.
Jeff Hardy has evidently not forgotten about it. He grabbed headlines recently when he opened up about wanting to face CM Punk in a retirement match. The former AEW star is confident that he can retire The Straight Edge Superstar:
"So it'd really be special to have a killer match, maybe make CM Punk retire, and then, go into the Hall of Fame," Jeff Hardy said.
The former WWE Champion is currently signed with TNA, with whom the Stamford-based promotion has a good working relationship. Could the two reignite a rivalry from two decades ago?
