CM Punk has an interesting message for Paul Heyman after facing Gunther at recent WWE show

WWE Superstar CM Punk recently took to social media to send an interesting message to Roman Reigns' Wiseman, Paul Heyman. The Second City Saint locked horns with Gunther during the company's house show in Chicago, Illinois, on December 29, 2024.

During the Stamford-based promotion's Live Holiday Tour, CM Punk challenged Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Although The Best in the World was the favorite going into the match, he failed to capitalize on the opportunity after Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio came out of nowhere to interfere. As Punk was about to win the title, Dirty Dom slammed the Steel Cage door into the former's face, and the match ended in The Ring General's favor.

Following the show, The Second City Saint took to his Instagram Stories to send an interesting message to Paul Heyman. In his post, Punk uploaded a photo of the song, 'I Don't Want To Grow Up,' by the rock band Ramones and tagged Roman Reigns' Wiseman.

Paul Heyman owes a favor to CM Punk after WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024

After CM Punk agreed to team up with Roman Reigns' OG Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames 2024, Paul Heyman revealed that he owed a favor to The Best in the World.

Since then, many people have been wondering what Punk's favor could be. During a recent edition of his Notsam Wrestling podcast, RAW personality Sam Roberts said that he believed if Roman Reigns reclaimed the Undisputed WWE Championship, then The Best in the World could ask for a title shot from Reigns' Wiseman.

"'You told me not to worry about WarGames, now WarGames is over, so what's the favor?' I personally still believe, as I believed after watching Survivor Series - the favor is going to end up being, 'My Tribal Chief, the favor is, that if and when you reclaim the WWE Championship, nay, your WWE Championship, then CM Punk will be able to call in an opportunity at the Championship whenever he desires.'"

CM Punk is currently focused on facing Seth Rollins on RAW's Netflix debut on January 6, 2025. It will be interesting to see who will come out on top.
