CM Punk officially announced for upcoming WWE show

WWE Superstar CM Punk has officially been announced for an upcoming show in Chicago. The controversial star got involved in the main event of Clash at the Castle this past Saturday night in Scotland.

The Allstate Arena in Chicago has officially announced that CM Punk will be appearing this Friday on the blue brand in the Windy City. The 45-year-old said he would be appearing on this week's SmackDown during the press conference following the premium live event, and now it has been made official. Allstate Arena's official X (formerly Twitter) account promoted his appearance today as seen in the post below.

"JUST ANNOUNCED…CM PUNK RETURNS TO ALLSTATE ARENA!!!! SEE YOUR FAVORITE WWE SUPERSTARS LIVE ON JUNE 21," stated the announcement by AllState Arena on their X Account.

Damian Priest defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre in the main event of Clash at the Castle: Scotland. The Scottish Warrior had the match won after hitting the Claymore but the referee was knocked out. CM Punk showed up in a referee's shirt but refused to count to three. The distraction allowed Damian Priest to retain his title.

WWE star reveals he is friends with CM Punk once again

WWE SmackDown commentator Corey Graves has disclosed that he has become friends with CM Punk again.

Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor, Bill Apter, in an exclusive interview in April, Graves shared that his issues with Punk are a thing of the past. He stated the two got to have a conversation ahead of Royal Rumble earlier this year and that they had buried the hatchet.

"I am proud to report that it's all water under the bridge. Actually, at the Royal Rumble, I finally had a chance in person [to talk]. I bumped into him briefly the night of Survivor Series backstage, but it was chaotic. He had just come back. Everything was at 11 at the moment. The day of the Royal Rumble at Tropicana Field, I actually got to pull him aside for a few minutes, and we cleared the air, [and] had a nice long chat," said Graves. [5:31 – 5:54]

Drew McIntyre has kept his rivalry with CM Punk alive as the veteran is still recovering from his torn triceps suffered in January. It will be interesting to see how McIntyre responds to Punk costing him the title again at WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland.
