A few weeks before Survivor Series: WarGames, The Best in the World resurfaced after leaving his WWE future up in the air to side with Roman Reigns. He joined the OTC to defeat Solo Sikoa's Bloodline inside the double-ring cage structure on November 30, on The Wiseman's request. In return, Punk informed Heyman that there was a price.

A few moments later, Seth Rollins joined the former AEW World Champion on stage, attempting to provoke the latter. The Visionary even succeeded.
