NXT New Year's Evil featured some of the most intriguing and highly anticipated matches, including the NXT Women's Championship match between Roxanne Perez and Giulia. The latter managed to pin the champion fair and square, beginning the New Year as the new NXT Women's Champion.
A picture of Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade along with CM Punk surfaced on the internet recently, with The Second City Saint smiling while the young stars were disappointed. Reacting to the picture in a recent Instagram story, Punk stated that he was proud of both Perez and Jade following WWE NXT.
"Smiling because I am proud of these two," stated Punk.

CM Punk has his eyes on gold following WWE RAW
After defeating Seth Rollins in a huge match on RAW, Punk teased his future plans ahead of the Royal Rumble. In an interview with Jackie Redmond during the Post-Show on WWE RAW, the Best in the World teased the end of his feud with Rollins, with the star eyeing all the gold in 2025.
"I’m coming for all the gold in 2025. Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, WrestleMania. Netflix, biggest thing I’ve ever done in my entire life," stated the Second City Saint.
While The Second City Saint might have his plans set for the future, Seth Rollins might not leave him alone with the massive loss. Time will tell what WWE has in store for both men next.
