Cody Rhodes came out after the main event of SmackDown as he ended up saving three of the OG Bloodline members from a further assault by The New Bloodline. The four of them brought a 36-year-old icon to the ring after the show went off the air. This was the American movie star and singer Vanessa Hudgens.
The main event of SmackDown saw The New Bloodline's Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga successfully defeat the OG Bloodline trio of Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Sami Zayn. It was Jey Uso who suffered a pinfall after Drew McIntyre interfered in the match. Although he didn't attack Jey or anyone else, he was taken out and that distraction directly tied into the finish.
Either way, fans were left happy after the cameras stopped rolling. 36-year-old icon Vanessa Hudgens, who is a huge self-professed wrestling fan, had a front-row seat for the three-hour SmackDown. She was brought into the ring by Cody Rhodes and The OG Bloodline, who yeeted along with her to a huge pop:
Hudgens was previously on RAW in the final episode of November 2024 and the star was fully embraced backstage by Triple H and almost every other superstar present there. Considering the age of several top superstars, we can only imagine that many of them grew up watching Vanessa Hudgens during her High School Musical days.
Either way, it was a wholesome moment to end the show.
Hudgens could also be on the RAW on Netflix premiere. Cody Rhodes certainly will be.
