Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns are arguably the two biggest stars on the current WWE roster. The American Nightmare recently addressed whether he has real-life heat with The Original Tribal Chief.
Since his comeback to the Stamford-based company in 2022, Rhodes and Reigns have had a heated rivalry over the Undisputed WWE Championship. The two superstars main-evented WrestleMania twice. While The Original Tribal Chief defeated Rhodes at last year's Show of Shows, the latter dethroned Reigns this past April at the Showcase of the Immortals. The two recently crossed paths again as they teamed up to defeat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood.
Ahead of his return to WWE, Rhodes took some shots at Reigns while in other promotions. In a recent interview with Flagrant, the 39-year-old was asked whether that resulted in him having real-life beef with The Original Tribal Chief. Rhodes revealed that he apologized to his WrestleMania 40 opponent for his actions:
"I don't think, no, we've never talked about any of that. Two conversations. I've wrestled this guy at two WrestleManias, two conversations. One, telling him that I was coming on board and I was looking forward to it and maybe even apologizing about that. And then the other was thank you for the house," he said. [2:05:13 - 2:05:38]

Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will compete at WWE Crown Jewel
Roman Reigns will team up with Jimmy and Jey Uso to square off against The Bloodline in a six-man tag team match this Saturday at Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes will go head-to-head against World Heavyweight Champion Gunther for the Crown Jewel Championship. Wrestling veteran Matthew Rehwoldt predicted that The Ring General would emerge victorious:
"I think it's gonna be Gunther, too. I think this will be the match of the night for me," he said.
While Rhodes and Reigns are now seemingly going in different directions, it will be interesting to see if their paths cross again soon.
