Cody Rhodes has been one of the major players in the entire Bloodline saga. The American Nightmare defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41, which eventually ended up marking the collapse of the faction before Solo Sikoa built his own Bloodline later.

While Rhodes and Reigns have had a lengthy feud over the past couple of years, the former's work with Jey Uso has also been commendable. Both Rhodes and Jey became tag team champions at WWE Fastlane 2024, marking one of the most unexpected endings. Following their victory, the duo kicked off the Fastlane Press Conference where Cody Rhodes was seen cracking up throughout.

Addressing the incident where he and Jey had a lot of fun, Rhodes, in a recent appearance on Flagrant, stated that he wanted to 'bring it back' and has considered crashing a Jey Uso Press Conference several times. Jey is currently going through a reunion process with Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns. Things are expected to come to a head on the upcoming episode of SmackDown.

"People really want him and I—I thought about it several times when we do these pressers, maybe crashing Jey's press conference just to bring it back, because it had a nice 'weekend update' vibe to it. So, yeah, it was a great moment," said Rhodes. [2:22:37 onwards]

Cody Rhodes is set for a clash with the World Heavyweight Champion

Crown Jewel is on the horizon and The American Nightmare is set to have a massive clash at the PLE. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will battle World Heavyweight Champion Gunther to determine the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion.

Both Rhodes and Gunther have intensified their feud with the continuous promos they have been cutting against each other. With a lot of stakes involved, it would be interesting to see how things turn out for both the World Champions of the Stamford-based company.
