Cody Rhodes gets called out by SmackDown star for reconciling with The Rock

Cody Rhodes was questioned by many fans after seemingly just reconciling with The Rock on the RAW on Netflix premiere this week. A top SmackDown star called him out for doing just that.

Fans were perplexed by The Rock being on good terms with Cody Rhodes again. They had a lot of bad blood heading into WrestleMania 40 - to the point where their story seemed to be even more important than Cody's story with Roman Reigns. One night after Cody became the Undisputed WWE Champion, The Rock made one thing clear - his story with Roman Reigns may have been over, but their story was just beginning. This seemed to indicate a WrestleMania 41 clash.

Kevin Owens interrupted a promo where Paul Heyman called out Cody Rhodes to declare Reigns' intention of winning the Royal Rumble and facing him at WrestleMania 41. KO hijacked the segment and asked Cody why he reconciled with The Rock - asking The American Nightmare if he'd "kissed his a**" and rubbed his ego the right way.

Owens was even wearing a shirt saying "Kevin is right," and you might be surprised to see many fans agreeing with this sentiment.

However, there's another sentiment that The Rock is completely swerving everybody and will eventually come after The American Nightmare.

There's still plenty of time for this storyline to develop before WrestleMania 41. We will see how things play out after the Royal Rumble.
