Cody Rhodes retained his Undisputed WWE Championship in a controversial fashion against Kevin Owens at Saturday Night's Main Event. However, an assault from Owens following the match forced Rhodes to be stretchered out before his magnificent return on this week's SmackDown. While the fans loved to see their champion return, ex-WWE employee Vince Russo pointed out a major mistake.
Rhodes confronted Owens during the latest episode of the blue brand, setting up a ladder match for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Royal Rumble 2025. During his return, just a couple of weeks after being stretchered out of the arena, Cody fashioned a long jacket and dressed up very well.
During the recent edition of the Coach and Bro Show, Vince Russo lashed out at the American Nightmare for coming out in fashion rather than selling the after-effects of a vicious piledriver, which has kept Randy Orton out for weeks.

A stacked-up match card for WWE RAW's debut on Netflix is all set to make headlines around the world.
Not only that, but massive appearances from John Cena and, apparently, The Rock are also set to steal the spotlight from the show.
Among the top names set to appear, Cody Rhodes has also been advertised to be in the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. However, his role on the show will be interesting to look out for. Time will tell what the American Nightmare has in store for his appearance on January 6.
