WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes recently took to social media to make a major announcement related to the latest house show in Mexico. Rhodes is one of the biggest babyfaces of the Stamford-based promotion.
Since dethroning Roman Reigns as the Undisputed WWE Champion at WrestleMania XL, The American Nightmare has defended his title on multiple occasions. After locking horns with AJ Styles in an 'I Quit' Match at the Clash at the Castle, Rhodes wrestled in another bout with the same stipulation as he recently defeated Santos Escobar during a house show in the latter's home country, Mexico.
Following the show, Cody Rhodes took to his Instagram stories to make a major announcement. The American Nightmare revealed that World Wrestling Entertainment made history during the house show as it was the biggest crowd ever for WWE in Mexico.
"You have bad nights in wrestling, good nights, great nights, and then you have the biggest crowd for [WWE] in history for Mexico," he mentioned.

Former WWE writer believes Cody Rhodes could lose his title to Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam
During a recent edition of Wrestling with Freddie, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. said that he believes there's a chance that Cody Rhodes could lose his title to Solo Sikoa and quickly win it back from the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief.
Freddie also mentioned that The American Nightmare might feud with someone else after Roman Reigns returns to television to go after Sikoa.
"I think Cody has a chance to lose the title, but he'll get it back quickly the way Randy [Orton] and John [Cena] went back and forth with one another. That's the only way I see this story working without Roman Reigns coming back sooner rather than later to stop all of Solo's plans and say, 'No, no, no, no, no, I'm The Tribal Chief. You are not The Tribal Chief.' Cody's gonna have a different story, and we're gonna focus on this Bloodline story here, and there'll be other challengers for Cody Rhodes to face," he said.
The Bloodline obliterated Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton on the latest edition of SmackDown. It will be interesting to see what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for The American Nightmare's future.
