Cody Rhodes just made a massive WrestleMania challenge in a non-WWE appearance. He teased a blockbuster dream match outside WWE.

Cody Rhodes is one of the most beloved WWE Superstars on the roster right now. The way he conducts himself with his fans, combined with his personality, have made him a popular star. Rhodes is currently the most sought after man in the company, considering he holds the Undisputed WWE Championship. This means that he has a lot of challengers gunning for his title constantly but he has seemingly already issued a challenge for WrestleMania.

Cody Rhodes recently starred in an ad for The Boys. This led one fan to comment that Homelander was shaking in his boots. There have been comparisons drawn between the character of Homelander and The American Nightmare in the past. Cody has also referenced Homelander in a few of his promos in the past. However, Cody took it a step further by replying to the fan with a gif of himself pointing at the WrestleMania sign, indicating a popular trope for a challenge on the grandest stage of them all. However, considering that Homelander is just a fictional character, this match probably won't happen.

Cody Rhodes names his Mount Rushmore of Wrestling

The Mount Rushmore is a heavily discussed topic in the wrestling business. Many wrestlers and fans have their own Mount Rushmore of wrestling, often with names like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and Ric Flair being commonly mentioned.

During a recent interview with The Pivot Podcast, Cody named who he would pick for his Mount Rushmore of wrestling.

"The Mount Rushmore is a question always in wrestling. The problem today is, people start to qualify it, 'Well, OK, so technical wrestling, it's going to be this guy...,' No, just tell us your Mount Rushmore, like, who's the guy to you? ... I cannot believe I'm going to say this, because he's not a fan of mine and I'm not a fan of his, but it's going to be... The Rock is going to be one of the heads up there. In addition to that, it's going to be John Cena, it's going to be 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair, and then it's going to be my dad [Dusty Rhodes]," Cody Rhodes said. [From 46:57 to 47:43]
