Former Intercontinental Champion Ryback believes Cody Rhodes might lose his Undisputed WWE Championship in just a few months.
The American Nightmare finished his story and captured the championship on Night Two of WrestleMania XL after defeating Roman Reigns in a Bloodline Rules match. The following night on RAW, WWE CCO Triple H introduced Rhodes as the man who would lead the company into the new era.
On a recent episode of his Ryback TV podcast, the former superstar addressed Rhodes' title reign, predicting that it might end in only a few months since Reigns had a "very lengthy run."
"I hope for a while for his sake, I hope he's given a fair shake and an opportunity, which judging by the WrestleMania numbers and the success of his merchandise and things, I would like to think he's gonna have a lengthy run. But, you know, coming off of Roman having that really, really lengthy run, I obviously, I don't think that's gonna happen. So, I think we probably gonna see something, you know, maybe we see something in the five-six months range/six-eight months range, maybe," he said. [1:09:04 - 1:09:38]
