Cody Rhodes recently opened up about how a popular female WWE star is the current locker room leader in the promotion. The American Nightmare has disclosed that Bayley had stepped up to assume the role of WWE's "captain."

The Role Model has been a part of the Stamford-based promotion for over a decade now. She started her journey in NXT. Over the last few years, Bayley has emerged as one of the most reliable performers in the company. A recent instance that shows how much WWE trusts her is when she was added to the WarGames Match just days ahead of Survivor Series 2024.

An untimely injury to Jade Cargill had forced the company to alter plans and Bayley was quickly inserted into the crucial spot. Not only in front of the screen, but The Role Model is a widely respected and beloved name backstage too.

In a recent interview with Jazzy's World TV, Cody Rhodes revealed that the 35-year-old star was the reigning locker room leader in WWE. The Undisputed Champion added that she deserved to be in the voice of the locker room.

“If you got a captain, you know, the C on the jersey, it’s probably her… She’s the locker room leader, and she should be.” [H/T: SeScoops]

Bill Apter wants Cody Rhodes to lose his Undisputed WWE Title to Kevin Owens

On a recent edition of Sportskeeda's UnSKripted podcast, Bill Apter stated that he wants to see Kevin Owens dethrone Cody Rhodes for his title.

The veteran journalist explained that while Cody should lose his gold at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 15th, KO should defeat him in a possible rematch at the show's next edition in January.

"What I would like to see, no knock to Cody, but Saturday Night's Main Event, they are gonna do another one in January. Kevin Owens is a such a great maniac. He should take the title at Saturday Night's Main Event. The rematch is the following Saturday Night's Main Event."

Considering how much momentum Owens has on his back, it would be interesting to see if the promotion chooses to pull the trigger by having him dethrone Cody.
