Reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes recently commented on the possibility of facing his former rival, Seth Rollins, in another singles match. The 39-year-old also suggested a stipulation for the potential match.
The American Nightmare made his surprise return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 as the mystery opponent of The Visionary. They had a trilogy of matches that concluded in a Hell in a Cell Match in which Rhodes wrestled with a torn pectoral muscle. The Architect would end up losing all three matches despite his best efforts.
Speaking to Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes, Rhodes was asked if he was willing to face Rollins again in a match. The Undisputed WWE Champion said he would love to lock horns with The Messiah in a 60-minute Iron Man Match to test his limits.
"That third match, I think, puts an exclamation point on those. To the point where I don’t know if people would want to see me and Seth wrestle again; maybe they would; I’d love to! He’s such a great in-ring wrestler. If I had to go 60 minutes with anybody, I’d certainly like to test myself with somebody like him in an Iron Man setting. I don’t know if anybody wants to see another one. We really did good with the three we had," Rhodes said. [H/T: Inside The Ropes]

Cody Rhodes defeats Kevin Owens at WWE Bash in Berlin
In WWE's first-ever Premium Live Event in Germany last weekend, Cody Rhodes defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens. The American Nightmare and The Prizefighter opened Bash in Berlin with a hard-hitting matchup. However, KO didn't capitalize on the defending champion's knee injury during the match.
Kevin treasured his friendship with Cody more than the title, eventually leading to Rhodes getting the victory. The two superstars shook hands after the match.
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes will likely defend the title against Solo Sikoa in the coming days. It will be interesting to see if the Triple H-led creative team books the potential match for the upcoming Bad Blood PLE.
