After his injury, Cody Rhodes has now been replaced for a huge WWE event. He won't be part of the event anymore, thanks to getting hurt.

Cody Rhodes won his match at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, but the celebration was short-lived. He was attacked from behind by Kevin Owens, who hit him with the package piledriver. This led to a cervical spine injury that was confirmed by WWE. The star was supposed to appear at the Netflix Kickoff event this Wednesday. Now, though, plans have changed.

As per what was said on WWE RAW, Gunther will take Cody Rhodes' place in the Netflix Kickoff event. This appears to be a continued sell for the injuries that Rhodes suffered after Saturday Night's Main Event went off the air.

Triple H was thoroughly angered by what happened on the show. He confronted Kevin Owens and let him know that he had gone too far with his actions on the night. The two even got physical, which has been very rare for Triple H since his retirement due to his health issues.

With him furious with Kevin Owens, fans will have to wait and see if he punishes Owens for his actions any further going into next week.
