Cody Rhodes responds to a special fan's demand; promises to meet her at a WWE show

The pro wrestling community clearly loves Cody Rhodes for the passion with which he engages with his fans. The Undisputed WWE Champion is also known for almost always responding to requests from his younger fans who admire him, often making their day with his acts of generosity. Interestingly, The American Nightmare has now responded to another fan to fulfill a longtime dream of hers.

Cody Rhodes was reached out to on X via a tweet by one of his fans named Paige. The young girl noted in her tweet that she was undergoing treatment for cancer and watching The American Nightmare wrestle had gotten her through some tough times. She expressed hope of meeting Rhodes this time at a show in Newcastle. Unsurprisingly, the WWE champ assured her he would see her.

“We will meet this time! I’ll make it happen.”

Notably, Paige also shared the image of her ticket, which shows that she will be attending a show on October 15, 2024. Interestingly, by the time she gets to meet The American Nightmare again, she could possibly get treated to another big feud in Rhodes’ career.

Cody Rhodes takes the fight to Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline

The Bloodline has been a perma-nemesis for Cody Rhodes. He won his Undisputed WWE Title after defeating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL following a two-year chase. On the June 21, 2024, episode of WWE SmackDown, The American Nightmare made a surprise appearance and gave backup to CM Punk. Apparently, Punk was moments away from being ganged up on by Solo Sikoa and the Tongan brothers.

While he prevented Solo Sikoa from acting like a kingpin on the blue brand, he also challenged him to a singles match. Moreover, he remarked that he has already beaten one Head of The Table. This could put Rhodes in another active rivalry with The Bloodline in the coming days. It would be interesting to see if he neutralizes the faction that has seemingly lost its purpose without Roman Reigns to lead the faction.
