The saga between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns had a plethora of superstars involved. However, one of the major players from the WrestleMania storyline was Seth Rollins. The latter teamed up with Rhodes to take on The Rock and Roman Reigns hours before his World Heavyweight Title defense against Drew McIntyre.
While working multiple times at the Grandest Stage of them All was a massive point, another major point that made Rollins the 'MVP' of the show was his knee injury. The Visionary was not 100% when he walked into WrestleMania, and still gave his best efforts to deliver some incredible matches.
In a recent interview on Flagrant, Cody Rhodes addressed Rollins' injured knee during WrestleMania season and stated that the Visionary was completely 'shredded.' The Undisputed WWE Champion also heaped praise on Rollins, stating that he is 'the man' for his extraordinary work.
"His knee was completely shredded, too. If you watch it in slow-mo when he gets hit with the chair, if you’ve ever had an MCL, PCL, ACL injury, any of that, your knee wobbles. So when he falls into the rope, his knee literally wobbles horizontally—it’s absurd. His knee was toast. Oh, really? Yeah, that guy’s the man, dude. His knee was toast," stated Cody Rhodes.
