Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa in a SummerSlam rematch on the SmackDown on USA Premiere. After going to war in a steel cage and pinning Sikoa, The American Nightmare had only two words to say.

The Cody Rhodes-Solo Sikoa feud was run back after the former's title defense against Kevin Owens at Bash in Berlin 2024. The Tribal Chief made it clear that he wasn't done with The American Nightmare and it set up a Steel Cage match for the season premiere. The match, which featured through the ad-free portion of SmackDown, saw Rhodes pick up the win in a grueling battle.

Cody Rhodes retained his title against Solo Sikoa and said very clearly, "We're done" after beating the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief:

Meet John Cena's dad HERE

Of course, that would be the logical step to take, but The Bloodline isn't done with Cody Rhodes just yet, even if he is done with them. While the WWE Championship might not be on the line, it looks like Rhodes is going to have a new ally in a familiar old foe - Roman Reigns.

The OTC also returned and helped Cody, with the latter returning the favor.

Solo went and spoke to Nick Aldis after the match to suggest a very big idea. It remains to be seen what the future holds in this feud.
