Cody Rhodes has been announced to appear on this week's RAW ahead of his blockbuster match against a top star next month. The Undisputed WWE Champion took to social media to share an interesting message on Monday.
The American Nightmare is set to face World Heavyweight Champion Gunther at the upcoming Crown Jewel Premium Live Event to determine the first-ever men's Crown Jewel Champion. The bout was confirmed after The Ring General retained his World Heavyweight Title against Sami Zayn, for whom Cody was rooting, on last week's RAW.
Cody Rhodes recently put Gunther on notice ahead of their face-to-face confrontation on the Monday Night Show with a post on X (formerly Twitter).
"Tonight! Champ to Champ," Cody wrote.

Former WWE personality compares Cody Rhodes and Gunther as world champions
While speaking on a recent edition of The Wrestling Matt podcast, Matt Camp felt that Gunther might be the "better world champion" in WWE based on his presentation and in-ring work, among other things.
However, the former RAW Talk host conceded that The Ring General would never be the face of the Sports Entertainment juggernaut like The American Nightmare because the Austrian was a heel champion.
"I might already call Gunther a better world champion than Cody [Rhodes]. I'm really just saying that in terms of presentation. I'm well aware that I can make that statement and also know that Cody [Rhodes] is the face of the company, and Gunther will never be that guy. He's a heel world champion, and that's fine," he said.
It will be interesting to see what unfolds between Cody Rhodes and Gunther in the build-up to Crown Jewel 2024 and at the event itself.
Can Rhodes add another feather to his cap, or will Gunther prove to be the better WWE World Champion? Only time will tell.
