Cody Rhodes sends a warning to The Bloodline ahead of WWE Bad Blood in unseen moment after SmackDown

Hours from now, former rivals Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will team up to eliminate their common enemies in Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag match at Bad Blood 2024. After the latest episode of Blue Brand, The American Nightmare issued a serious warning to his opponents.

The go-home show of SmackDown ahead of Bad Blood was a special episode in which we saw multiple incredible matches and AJ Styles' phenomenal return. However, it did not go the way he wanted it to, as during his singles bout against Carmelo Hayes, the former WWE Champion injured his leg, and the referee had to stop the match immediately.

While Cody Rhodes was not on the show, The American Nightmare competed in a dark match against the former United States Champion Austin Theory and defeated him again. Interestingly, a fan shared a video from after the match, in which Rhodes issued a final warning to Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, stating that he and The OTC are going to “dog walk” the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief and the Samoan Werewolf.

“Me and The OTC Roman Reigns will take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. As dangerous as those men are, and they have proved it more tonight, I think we’re going to dog walk them... I’ll put it to you this way: at the end of the night, I’ll still be the WWE Champion, at the end of the month, I’ll still be WWE Champion and next time we’re in Nashville, I’ll still be WWE Champion,” said Rhodes. The tag team match between the team of Rhodes and Reigns and Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu is set to main event the PLE, and the hell in a Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre is scheduled to kick off the show.

Roman Reigns Planted Seeds for the third match against Cody Rhodes

Ahead of Bad Blood 2024, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes seemingly settled their disparity and promised to have each other’s back against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

The Original Tribal Chief warned The American Nightmare that soon he would aim to reclaim “his” WWE Undisputed Universal Championship back from him. Cody Rhodes ended the iconic four-year title reign of Roman Reigns this year at WrestleMania XL.

The OTC has planted the seeds for a third-trilogy match against Cody Rhodes. Notably, he has not yet revealed when he will chase back his title. It will be interesting to see how the Triple H-led creative team eventually books the third bout between these arch-rivals.
