A backstage WWE personality has predicted that Cody Rhodes could defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against a popular star at Money in the Bank 2024. Sam Roberts thinks Solo Sikoa could challenge Rhodes for the upcoming premium live event in Toronto, Canada.

The American Nightmare is fresh off a hard-fought title defense against his arch-nemesis, AJ Styles. The two stars battled an I Quit Match in the opening contest at Clash at the Castle 2024. The creative also laid the seeds for the WWE Champion's next feud when Solo Sikoa showed up to attack Cody Rhodes after the latter emerged victorious.

Though Randy Orton and Kevin Owens soon stopped the ensuing beatdown by The Bloodline, it was enough to indicate which direction WWE was heading into. On the latest episode of Notsam Wrestling, Sam Roberts stated that fans could witness a showdown between Rhodes and Sikoa at next month's MITB PLE.

"So The Bloodline takes out Cody Rhodes and it leads me to go, 'Oh, I wonder if Solo vs. Cody, maybe that's the Money in the Bank match, right? Maybe we don't have to wait until SummerSlam, it's at Money in the Bank," said Sam Roberts. (From 57:56 to 58:08)

Randy Orton also subtly made his intentions clear at WWE Clash at the Castle 2024

While The Viper and The Prizefighter came out to fend off The Bloodline after they attacked Cody Rhodes, it led to a subtle moment that has gotten fans buzzing.

Many spotted Randy Orton looking closely at Cody's title after saving him from the beatdown. The moment has gone viral on social media, with fans predicting that Orton could challenge Rhodes at SummerSlam 2024.

The fans have been demanding to see The Viper get back into the main event picture. If a feud with Cody is the direction the creative is going in, it would surely please the former's massive fanbase.
