Cody Rhodes is currently the ultimate babyface in WWE. However, wrestling veteran Francine suggested he might turn heel when a massive superstar returns from hiatus.

The American Nightmare had a heated rivalry with The Rock heading into WrestleMania 40. The Final Boss even pinned Rhodes on Night One of The Show of Shows in a tag team match. On RAW after WrestleMania, the 52-year-old legend confronted the newly crowned Undisputed WWE Champion, promising to go after the 39-year-old upon his comeback.

In a recent episode of Francine's Eyes Up Here podcast, her co-host Chad IanB predicted that Rhodes would turn heel by the end of next year. Chad pointed out that although The Rock was a heel when he went on hiatus, he could return as a babyface. The ECW legend agreed that fans might cheer The Final Boss upon his comeback, claiming it could lead to The American Nightmare becoming a villain.

"They [fans] might [like The Rock again when he comes back]. And maybe, this brings Cody out. And maybe, that's where the heel turn begins," she said. [27:36-27:41]

Francine predicted The Rock's opponent at WWE WrestleMania 41

On the same edition of her Eyes Up Here podcast, Francine predicted that The Rock will compete in the main event of WrestleMania 41. While rumors suggested The Final Boss might face Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat Match, the ECW legend disclosed that she does not see that happening.

Instead, the former WWE star predicted The Rock will finally go one-on-one with the OTC.

"The Rock is gonna get himself into it. You know he is. Is it gonna be Cody or is it gonna be Roman Reigns? It's gonna be one of them. I think it's gonna be The Rock and Roman. [Not a three-way?] No. I think it's a one-on-one. Yeah, I'm feeling it. That's what I'm feeling," she said.

The Stamford-based company has been planning a match between Reigns and The Final Boss for a few years. It will be interesting to see if it takes place at next year's Show of Shows in Las Vegas.
